URRP’s Community Bonding: Building Connections & Support

URRP’s Community Bonding: Building Connections & Support is a program designed to bring Ukrainian refugee families together, fostering a sense of community and mutual support during their journey of resettlement. This initiative creates a space where individuals and families can connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships with others facing similar challenges. Through regular social gatherings, networking opportunities, and group activities, participants can strengthen their support networks, improve communication skills, and develop meaningful connections. By encouraging a culture of care and solidarity, Community Bonding helps ease the transition into a new environment, providing a foundation for emotional well-being, personal growth, and a stronger sense of belonging.

URRP’s Art of Emotion is a specialized art therapy program designed to help Ukrainian refugees, both adults and children, navigate the emotional challenges of displacement. Through guided creative expression using various artistic mediums, participants can process their experiences, reduce stress, and strengthen emotional resilience. The program provides a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build connections with others facing similar challenges. By fostering self-expression and emotional healing, The Art of Emotion empowers refugees to regain a sense of stability and belonging in their new environment, ultimately enhancing their well-being and integration into the community.

The Ukrainian Refugee Relief Program (URRP) is launching a heartfelt School Supplies Drive to help Ukrainian refugee children start the new successful school year with confidence and hope.

Many of these children have faced unimaginable hardship, and URRP is calling on the local community to help ensure they have the essential supplies they need — like backpacks, notebooks, pencils, markers, erasers, rulers, scissors, glue, art materials, lunch boxes, and water bottles — to thrive in the classroom.
